Relaxation/Swedish: most common type of massage combining various hands-on techniques including long gliding strokes, friction and kneading to promote relaxation and relieve muscle soreness
Therapeutic: any combination of strokes, modalities, compression, trigger point release, etc., to address a specific concern(s), treat injury, and release chronic tension patterns
Integrative: a therapeutic method that combines aspects of massage and bodywork, incorporating physical, emotional and spiritual elements. It is uniquely tailored to client needs as indicated by the body and it supports a holistic approach to wellness; combines eastern and western healing elements
Jing Acutouch, Meridian Balancing, Acupressure: sustained, gentle pressure on acupoints to stimulate the body’s natural capacity for healing; powerful and deeply relaxing, (Jing Acutouch excellent for elderly clients)
Energy Work: a unique, often highly intuitive massage experience originating from ancient traditions and recent discoveries; supports the body’s self-healing capacity to remove blockages and restore health and harmony
Deep Tissue: addresses concerns, treats injuries and releases chronic tension patterns, adhesions and scar tissue in the body; reaches deeper layers for more complete pain relief and restorative function; stimulates deep and lasting changes
Myofascial Release: sustained gentle pressure to eliminate pain and restore motion, treats connective tissue (fascia) that supports/protects all structures of the body in a continuous 3D web from head to toe; creates deep and lasting changes Chair Massage: brief, yet highly effective for immediate stress reduction; excellent for work place or as a relaxing compliment to events, conferences, parties, expos and more
Touch for Health: uses massage, specific touch, and acupressure holding points for purposes of reducing physical and mental pain, improving postural balance, alleviating tension, improving performance and assisting the body in self-healing. This profoundly powerful holistic therapy uses muscle function testing to allow the body to tell its story.
Cranial Sacral Therapy: delicate, noninvasive treatment that modifies and corrects restriction in central nervous system. This system of therapy encourages innate healing by increasing communication between the brain and nervous system. Thus messages for healing (via nerves) travel more freely and enhance functioning to all aspects of the body.
BodyTalk: simple, noninvasive, highly effective therapy allowing the body’s energy systems to be resynchronized so they can operate as nature intended.
